Age Limit for Aadhaar Card:

• There is no upper age limit for obtaining an Aadhaar card in India.
• Individuals of all ages, including newborns, can enroll for an Aadhaar card. Aadhaar is designed to provide a unique identity to all residents of India, regardless of age, and is a crucial document for accessing various government services and schemes.
• For children below 5 years of age, a “Baal Aadhaar” is issued, which is blue in color and does not require biometric data collection.
• Biometric updates (fingerprints and iris scans) are required when the child reaches 5 and again at 15 years of age.
• To enroll a child for Aadhaar, parents or guardians can use their own Aadhaar as proof of relationship and address.
• A birth certificate is also required. For children above 5 years, biometric data is collected during the enrolment process.

How to Enrolled With New Aadhaar :

• Find Your Nearest Enrollment Center by choosing your State Name, District Name and Area Name.
• Visit the Center to submit your documents, along with a photograph and biometric details.
• After a few days, your e-Aadhaar will be available for download from the official portal.

Online Correction of E-Aadhaar Card :

• After successfully generating the Aadhaar Card, check your details properly.
• If you find any error or mistake in Aadhaar Card, you can do correction online or in nearby Enrollment Center by providing necessary documents.
• After successfully submitting the Correction Procedure, you have to wait for few days and then download E-Aadhaar.

• Date of Birth:
  • Birth Certificate, SSLC Book / Certificate, Passport, Photo ID card having Date of Birth, PAN Card, Marksheet, etc.

• Visit the Official UIDAI Website
  To print, verify, or correct your Aadhaar card, start by visiting the official UIDAI website.
• Select the Relevant Service
  Choose the appropriate option from the available links based on your needs.
• Download e-Aadhaar (Electronic Version)
  If you need a digital copy of your Aadhaar card, enter your Enrolment ID (received during registration) along with your registered mobile number.
• Check Aadhaar Generation Status
  For applicants who have already enrolled, you can track your Aadhaar status by providing your Enrolment ID and Date of Birth.
